Surgery

DJWH Surgery Department is staffed with 2 RNs, 3 Surgical Technicians and 1 housekeeper.  We have 2 General Surgery rooms and 1 Endoscopy room.  Anesthesia is provided by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.  The department hours are M – F  7am to 3pm with a call staff provided after hours and on weekends and holidays.  We provide services for surgical procedures such as:

Endoscopic (Colonscopy and EGDs), Laparoscopic (Gastric Banding, Hernias and Cholecystectomies), General (Roux and Y Gastric Bypass, Open Hernias, Cyst removal), Orthopedic (Knee Arthroscopy, Carpel Tunnel), Podiatry (Correction of hammer toe, etc), ENT (M&Ts, Facial lesions), Gynecological (Tubal ligations, D&Cs), Opthalmic (Cataracts, General Eye procedures) and many other procedures not listed here.  We are ever looking to grow and increase our volume of surgical procedures performed by continuing to work with our present surgeons on staff and future surgeons that will be joining the DJWH facility.
